Hello, my name is Ida Marie Stephansen and I am a PhD candidate in Biotechnology at NTNU in Trondheim. I have a master’s in chemical engineering and biotechnology with specialization within molecular genetics. My master`s thesis was concerning recombinant protein production in E. coli. I started my PhD in May 2024, and I will use metabolic engineering to expand the substrate spectrum of C. glutamicum towards seaweeds.
