My name is Ahmad Tsjokajev and I have completed my master’s degree in Bioanalytical Chemistry at University of Oslo (UiO). Prior to my master’s, I have completed my bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at UiO. My main specialization is Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) and its applications such as analysis of biological samples, method development and method validation. I have worked as an engineer at Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH) and from June 2022 I have started as a PhD student at Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). The project I am currently part of is FunEPS in which we seek to learn more about bacterial exopolysaccharide (EPS), how these complex carbohydrates are degraded by bacteria and how we can use EPS in new food and health applications.
