I am a Master student in Structural Biology at the University of Oslo. My thesis project focuses specifically on determining the structure and functional mechanism of a bacterial adhesin. I aspire to someday research bacteriophage therapy, be that the chemistry of intravenous delivery systems for phages, their structural biology, or discovering new phages. I was born and raised on the countryside in northern California, but moved to Norway as a child. I am a citizen in both countries. My inspiration for pursuing a career in science has always been my dad, a middle school science teacher who has constantly taught me about the wildlife and world around me.
