I finished my BSc in Chemistry from University of Leeds and then I did my MSc in Chemical biology and drug discovery at the same university. Then I moved to University of Edinburgh where I did my PhD in Structural Biology. I have stayed in Edinburgh for two more years working as a Postdoctoral fellow, before moving to the University of Bergen to work as Postdoctoral fellow in the group of Prof Ruth Brenk. My current research is focused on the identification of new inhibitors for several protein targets from Pseudomonas aeruginosa (a gram negative bacteria in the priority pathogens list of WHO). My research interests are in Drug Discovery, Structural biology and Fragment screening and I have experience in X-ray crystallography, binding/enzymatic assays and Molecular Modeling.
