I’m Clémentine Isembart, I graduated with a master’s degree in microbiology and biotechnology from the Université de Lorraine in France and a master thesis at the Universität Wien in Austria. During my PhD project I am looking at keratinous material degradation, focusing mostly on feathers, using keratinolytic microorganisms, focusing mostly on 2 bacteria. I am part of the Biospec Team (Biospectroscopy and Data Modeling (BioSpec) | NMBU) at NMBU which gives me the opportunity to have a transdisciplinary approach of research questions. My project is also related to SFI biotechnology (https://sfi-ib.com/phd-students) where I have the chance to work with industries such as Norilia.
