My name is Eirin Landsem and I am a PhD- student at The Norwegian University of Life Sciences. I work in a project called COOFIX- Evolving novel carbon dioxide reducing enzymes. The ultimate goal in this project is to develop type-3 copper enzymes that can convert CO2 to oxalate and further convert oxalate to central metabolic intermediates by metabolic engineering.
