Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences (Univille, Joinville, Brasil), with specialization in Environmental Management and in Biotechnology. Master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology (UFRGS, Porto Alegre, Brasil). Master’s thesis research was about the proteomic response of Vero Cells infected by two different Zika Virus strains. Currently, PhD candidate at The Arctic University of Norway, researching the bioprospection of Giant Viruses and their potential antimicrobial peptides.
