I got my MSc in Biotechnology at NTNU in 2019. My master thesis explored how microbial communities change temporally and under different selection pressures. I am interested in understanding how microbial communities are structured and what processes that attribute to their composition. I started my PhD within this community assembly framework in 2019. My project aims to elucidate how random, or stochastic, processes structure aquatic microbial communities. We are especially interested in determining how this randomness impacts microbial invasions.
