My name is Nadia, and I am a PhD student at Host-microbe interaction research group, department of medical biology, faculty of health science, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. I did my masters in biomedicine in 2022 at UiT and started PhD degree in august, 2023. I also hold a master’s degree in chemistry. We use chemical biology tools to investigate various aspects of bacterial physiology, virulence and resistance mechanisms. During my PhD research, we will investigate the cellular phenotypic heterogeneity in bacterial pathogens populations.
