I have previously obtained a BSc and MSc in Biotechnology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). Currently I am a PhD student within Life and Food Science as a part of the Protein engineering and Proteomics group at NMBU with Vincent Eijsink as my main supervisor. The PhD project will attempt to increase our knowledge on Lytic Polysaccharide Monooxygenases (LPMOs) through protein structure determination, enzyme kinetics, mutagenesis and directed evolution studies. The overall goal of the project is to unravel the secrets of Cu-based catalysts for selective C-H activation.
