Air Transport
BioCat will cover the flight costs of all participants. Please book your flights through Berg Hansen ASAP and keep your receipts and boarding passes. We cannot guarantee reimbursement if you do not use Berg Hansen and if you do not keep your boarding passes and receipts. You can apply for reimbursement after the travel through the DFØ system.
Shared Local Bus Transport
Shared transportation from the Tromsø airport to Sommarøy Hotel will be arranged by BioCat on Monday June 5th (for pre-conference workshop participants), Tuesday June 6th (for invited early arrivals) and Wednesday June 7th (for main conference participants) at kl 11.30. Please be sure to book your flights early enough to collect your luggage and arrive to the pick-up point at the correct time. If your flight is delayed and you miss the scheduled bus, contact BioCat and we will help you find a solution.
Most people will depart the conference venue Friday June 9th. BioCat will arrange shared transportation back to the Tromsø airport on this day at kl 14.30. Flights departing Tromsø should be booked from kl 17 onward.
Privately Arranged Local Bus Transport
If you prefer to arrive or depart the venue at a different time, there is a district bus (route 420) that runs to and from the airport several times a day and costs 41 nok each way. Feel free to explore these options at your own expense.
The bus runs from the Tromsø Airport to Sommarøy Hotel from:

- 16:25 – 17:47
The bus runs from Sommarøy Hotel to the Tromsø Airport from:
- 06:31 – 08:17
- 07:53 – 09:27
- 13:51 – 15:32
The Sommarøy Hotel is approximately an 8 minute walk from the local bus stop.
